Fateha Masroor

Welcome! My name is Fateha Masroor and I am a high school student interested in the field of neuroscience! I love philosophy and research in medicine as well. Creativity is the best kind of freedom and, on this page, I feel free to express it. Through articles, poetry, and thoughts, I love to share words in different forms. But even better is deep thought. Oh the world of mystery and pondering… I like to share philosophical questions to spark thought and share other forms of expression through writing. Find what you deem interesting on this page and enjoy!

I love a lot of different things: photography, jigsaw puzzles, philosophy, the brain, and learning languages. I love understanding ideas and those aha moments! Medicine is my passion and I would love to give back to the community that has served me for a long time. I love understanding the complexity of the human body and the overlap of the body systems. I hope to inspire others to work towards their better selves and to value education literally as a passport to the future.

Close to when the war started, more towards the end of the year, the whole 5th grade went to the nature retreat where Auggie and Jack bravely fought huge 7th graders with the help of Miles, Amos, and Henry. After that no one said anything about “The Plague.”

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Barack Obama Two Men, One Theory

Dr. King said, “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. I have a dream today!”… “We cannot stop every act of senseless violence. We cannot know every evil that lurks in troubled minds. But if we can prevent even one tragedy…, save even one life, spare other families what these families are going through, surely we’ve got and obligation to try.” (Obama)

Three Seuss-isms for Life

Open your heart, be patient, and be flexible. Oh hi there, Dr. Seuss here! I’m not an amazing writer like people say, definitely not like Shakespeare! I was just reading a few of my Seuss-isms from my book. For my ease, I have them written down in a handbook. Today I’m going to explain these three Seuss-isms to you. Let’s […]

Stay Bright, Fight Drugs

You say goodbye to your friends and continue walking home. A girl comes up to you and asks you to drink. You should say no and walk away. You continue your journey home, and see your best friend’s brother. He comes up to you, and asks you to have a beer. You can give him an excuse or reason to say no, and continue on home. Finally outside your door, one of your old friends who is now a user, asks you to smoke. Just say no and change the subject. Play a game of basketball or something else instead.
