My School

       Have you ever seen a tall, three leveled school with fantastic teachers, a polite nurse, a sweet principal, behaved students, and many more? Hey and guess what, my school is the latest opened school in Woodbridge Township. Oak Tree Road School is an exciting place to learn and enjoy. Are you excited to learn about all the great things about my school? Well, let’s get started. We have classroom activities, Student Council, Family Science, and etc.                                                 To begin with, all teachers do many classroom activities and fun things. When we have fun, everyone in my class laughs like crazy and acts like they’re playing wildly on a playground! Does it happen in your school? In my school teachers are as nice as parents and are as funny as clowns in circuses. For example, we play Game Busters, Stem projects, and do Minute to Win it activities. We play Game Busters on days before our science tests. The four tiny buzzers make funny noises. For example, boing boing, buzzzzzz, honk honk, and rinnnnng. Therefore, it helps us on the test and we have fun. Moreover, we do stem projects. This requires teamwork. Once we had to make the highest pyramid with large, red, plastic cups. Along with that, we play Minute to Win it games. This requires no teamwork. We have a minute to do these activities. We tried balancing Hb2 pencils on our fingers, throwing them, and catching them. Hb2 pencils are the normal yellow ones. First, we had to do 2 pencils. Once we got it, we kept rising up by 2 all the way to 8. Having classroom activities make everyone as happy as a dog with 3 bones.
       As you can see, we have Student Council. It is really fun but it is only for 4th and 5th graders. We help teachers, have fun, and support our school. We sort out pink, heart shaped cupid cards for Valentine’s Day. We also collect food and toys for the Food and Toy drive. Instead of teachers doing all the work, students do it. We also have a Crayon/marker drive in which we have to put any markers are or crayons in a bucket. Those that don’t work or ones that are too small go to a place where they use them to make new ones. Student Council supports the school in a great way.
        Not only do we have classroom activities and Student Council but we also have Family Science. This is an after school program. For instance, we made large red, blue, and yellow bubbles by dipping a green striped straw in a bubble mixture. Then we put our finger on top of the straw and brought it to the table. We took our finger of and blew. In less than a second, the bubble grew large. Besides, we also made a rocket so it would land smoothly on a planet, soft like oobleck. Furthermore, we also had a rope and we had to tie a knot on it without letting go of the sides. This program is really fun to enjoy with your family. My parents enjoyed it and said it was a great program, just like I did.
All in all, my school is a great and exciting place to learn and enjoy. We have classroom activities, Student Council, Family Science, and etc. Hopefully you were inspired by learning about my school and one day you actually come.
